Nutripuncture

Nutripuncture was discovered by Dr. Patrick Veret in 1983. For over twenty years this
therapy has been practiced in France. Nutripuncture uses 38 regulating nutriments (small,
good tasting, chewable pills) taken orally, to treat and balance specific meridians and points
on the body (much like acupuncture needles).

These Nutriments have combinations of trace minerals that energetically communicate with
the body’s organs. The different combinations of electromagnetic information send a
specific message to the body at certain points. The information of the different trace
minerals already exists in each of our body’s cells; therefore, these Nutrients are easily
recognized and utilized by the body.

Nutripuncture activates cellular exchanges of nutrition and energy, which is how cells are
nourished and revitalized in the body. This therapy regulates the body’s meridians/vital
currents according to the seasons of the year, supporting a person’s desire to live a more
balanced and energetic life.

The science of Nutripuncture was developed from the combination of Georges Lakhovsky’s
research on cellular oscilation and the Chinese concept of health.

Nutripuncture has both confirmed and fine-tuned the laws of health that have been taught
and practiced in Traditional Chinese Medicine for thousands of years. The research that
has gone into the development of Nutripuncture therapy has brought together Chinese
medicine with the modern concepts of functional physiology.

Nutripuncture Nutriments correspond with organs and functions allowing everyone to
nourish their body during each season. The main organ pairs and meridians for each
season are:

Summer—Heart/Small Intestine
End of Summer—Stomach/Pancreas
Autumn—Lungs/Colon
Winter—Kidney/Bladder
Spring—Liver/Gallbladder

There are two approaches to using Nutripuncture, Associative Nutripuncture and
Sequential Nutripuncture:

Associative Nutripuncture is the therapy everyone starts with. This is designed to give a
general, nutritional action on the vital currents and organs of the body.
Associations always start with Yin/Yang and follow with any order of nutriments chosen
according to the person’s individual needs. Nutri Yin and Nutri Yang promote better
communication between a person’s cells and their environment. Together with the other
nutriments, Yin/Yang helps to restore the vitality levels in the body.

Associative Nutripuncture is easy and successful for anyone to apply. The only restriction is
respecting the five nutriments that are for men and the five that are for women and always
taking Yin/Yang first. A person can experiment with different combinations and teach
himself or herself how to nourish their bodies according to their specific health needs and
according to the current season. Associations can be used by anyone including babies,
children and even animals. All recommendations in this website are associations.

Sequential Nutripuncture does not use Yin/Yang and follows an important and synergistic
order of five nutriments. These nutriments, like the words in a sentence, convey a targeted
and precise piece of information to a specific point in the body, such as a joint, bone,
organ, function or emotional issue. This targeted information allows the body to nourish the
vital currents that are associated with the disturbed area or illness.

Sequential Nutripuncture is a rich language that deals with the structural, organic, humoral,
cognitive and psychological functions of a person. Sequences cannot be “made up”, they
can only be prescribed by authorized consultants who have been specially trained in
Nutripuncture. For a list of consultants please see the chapter on “Nutripuncture
Consultants”.

The Nutriments are numbered from 1 to 38, corresponding to organs and functions in the
body associated with the vital currents (meridians):
