Use of the Four Pillars of Traditional Chinese Medicine to Enhance Cellular Nutrition and Restore Vital Currents Level I and Level II
C.E.U. and P.D.A. Accredited, Continuing Education Course for Acupuncturists
Welcome to one of the most advanced and interactive seminars available for acupuncturists.
Sponsored by: Health and Education Services
Authored and Instructed by: Dr. Patrick Veret, M.D. Health and Education Services is pleased to present the in-depth teachings of Dr. Patrick Veret, MD. For 18 years, Dr. Veret has been educating medical doctors all over the world in acupuncture and cellular nutrition.
This course not only honors the traditional teachings of Chinese Medicine, it also incorporates this healing science into modern living. By reviewing and practicing the Four Pillars of diagnosis, as they apply to a person’s physical balance, mental and emotional health, you will attain a richer perspective of healing that will take your practice to a new level.
What you will gain from this course:
In ancient China when Tao Hongjing set up China’s first school of medicine in 629 AD, physicians were brought together to study health and diseases. There was unity in their approach and nutrition was at the core of their studies. During this time, there wasn’t a separation of medical practices like there is today.
The challenges of practicing acupuncture in today’s society are numerous, with the patient many times getting caught between allopathic treatments and holistic methods. How can this gap be bridged? Through the teachings of cellular nutrition and the vital currents, Dr. Veret shows how new research using a five point needle system, can directly address pathologies and behavior issues. This system respects the design of the body’s vital currents and like a surgeon’s knife, pinpoints and restores disturbances.
This new research is invaluable to every acupuncturist as it helps to reveal the source of illnesses and emotional problems. It has allowed practitioners in many countries to successfully treat a wide range of conditions, from seasonal disturbances to major health issues.
This course will cover:
◄An introduction to treating the vital currents nutritionally using a five point needle system.
◄A study of the electromagnetic information in the body
◄The relationship between deviations in the vital currents and pathologies.
◄A review of Nobel Prize winning scientist Barbara McClintock’s research demonstrating the mutation of DNA in relation to the cosmos.
◄A deeper understanding of how emotions, behavior and organs are interlinked by studying the six main organ pairs and related pathologies.
◄Hands-on practice using improved testing techniques, including pulse taking and palpation of key diagnostic acupuncture points.
◄Improved techniques in questioning and gathering information based on a deeper understanding of the origins of diseases.
◄Ways that you can take care of your own physical and emotional balance so that you can improve your touch and give the highest quality service to your patients.
During this course volunteers, from the class, will be used regularly in live demonstrations. This affords the participants a unique opportunity to personally experience Dr. Veret’s accurate methods of measuring and diagnosing disturbances within the vital currents.
About the Author and Speaker: Patrick Veret, M.D.: Patrick Veret was born in France in 1942. As a young man he became interested in the human body at the cellular level. His interest led him to study a variety of therapies, including sports physiology, nutrition, acupuncture and psychosomatic disorders. Over time, Dr. Veret came to see that there were links to the body’s health and well-being that were not well understood.
To further his understanding of the body, he attended the Paris Faculty of Medicine in Orsay, Paris, receiving his medical degree in 1970. Dr. Veret studied acupuncture at the Hospital Beaujon in Paris, from 1975-76 with well-known Chinese medical doctors such as Dr. N’guyen. He also received a degree in psychosomatic disorders at the Hospital Bichat, Faculty of Medicine of Paris.
Dr. Veret was the headline speaker on “Nutritional Systems of Acupuncture” at the first International Congress for Energetic Medicine in Monaco in 1985 in which Professor Etienne Guille’ and Dr. Paul Nogier and other well-known scientists and acupuncturists participated. For years, these top research scientists cooperated on projects and synergistically reached higher levels of healing techniques.
He went into private practice from 1972 to 1985 as a medical doctor and acupuncturist. While in practice, he developed the ability to see patterns of behavior during a patient’s illness, which he found were directly related to the disturbed organs/meridians. Although he came to have a waiting list of over six months (his clientele included three kings), he decided it was the highest and best use of his knowledge and talents to devote his life to teaching other doctors and to continue his research.
Dr. Veret currently devotes all of his time to his research and to lecturing in different countries including France, Spain, Italy, Canada and the United States. In recent years, he has taught acupuncture and enhanced cellular nutrition to more than 500 medical doctors in France and Italy. These courses are organized by the Amine Foundation (Association Medical International for Nutrition Endocellular) founded in 1997. Amine is an organization made up of over 500 doctors whose purpose is to teach other medical doctors. In 2002, Dr. Veret began teaching in the United States.
Dr. Veret has authored many books including: L’acupuncture nutritionnelle des systemes (Nutritional Systems of Acupuncture). This is his principle teaching manual. La medecine energetique (The Energetic Medicine) published by Editions du Rocher of Paris. La spasmophilie enfin vaincue (The Neuro-Muscular Hyperexcitability)
